The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) is proud to be a strategic partner of The Medicine Abuse Project by The Partnership at Drugfree.org. The abuse of medicine is one of the biggest drug problems in the U.S. today.

The campaign, September 23-29, 2012, encourages parents and the public to raise awareness and take action against drug abuse. Parents should talk with their children about the dangers of abusing prescription and over-the-counter medication. In addition, parents should safely use and dispose of medication.
