Problem-Based Learning Discussions: This online program presents the cases discussed during the Problem-Based Learning Discussions (PBLD) from past ASA annual meetings. Each PBLD presents a case and its objectives, model discussions and references, allowing learners to embark upon an individual study program to identify and solve the problems posed in each case.

ASA Quality Meeting: Creating and Measuring Quality in AnesthesiologyTM: This meeting will provide you with the tools you need to create, implement and use a quality management plan at your practice. Leading national experts will share strategies for meeting quality mandates and how to use quality management data to improve patient outcomes and performance measurement. CME
ASA Legislative Conference: This annual conference held in Washington, D.C. is the specialty's largest meeting focusing on state and federal legislative, regulatory and political issues impacting ASA and anesthesiology. The purpose of the conference is to prepare ASA members to engage effectively in the legislative, regulatory and political processes on behalf of the specialty. CME
ASA Conference on Practice Management: This annual event, designed for physicians and practice administrators, delivers the latest information you need to navigate in today’s complex practice environment. Held at different locations, Practice Management includes The Conference on Practice Management, a resident track, pre-conferences, and exhibits. Regulatory, legislative and accreditation changes are discussed and debated, best practices and workable solutions are presented, and networking events allow for dialogue with speakers, peers and exhibitors. Thought leaders and experts examine the rapidly evolving health care environment, and offer their insights and predictions on what will work or not work. ASA Simulation Education Network: Simulation Education Network (SEN) is a network of ASA-endorsed simulation programs held in centers across the country to deliver training to anesthesiologists. Courses are designed to realistically recreate challenging clinical cases to allow participants to problem‐solve in a manner that is similar to actual clinical experience. Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) Program: The Certificate in Business Administration Program provides an orientation to the business skills needed to successfully manage the operations and functions of a health care organization or medical practice. This program is designed to teach participants who have had no formal business education the skills needed to run a department, manage the challenges of a modern practice (private or academic) and sharpen entrepreneurial skills. The program is presented through a mixture of in-person sessions and distance learning modules on DVD. CME
A-ACLS: First Response to Circulatory Crisis in the OR: Through the use of multiple scenarios, ASA's Anesthesia Advanced Circulatory Life Support online course will help improve your awareness, knowledge and skills in identifying pre-arrest circulatory crises, describing precipitants, and outlining appropriate measures for managing cardiac situations in the operating room. Anesthesiology Continuing Education Program (ACE): A self-study CME program, ACE covers established knowledge in the field of anesthesiology. The program is an excellent resource for assessment of current anesthesiology knowledge and identification of areas for improvement. Available in print and electronic formats, an annual subscription to ACE comprises two issues, each of which presents 100 questions with answers, detailed discussions and references. ASA/SCA Basic Perioperative TEE Education Program: Provides a thorough knowledge base in Basic Perioperative TEE. This joint Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists-ASA initiative fulfills the education component of the Extended CME Pathway for the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) certification in Basic Perioperative TEE. Clinical Ethics Decision-Making Course: This interactive education module on clinical ethics provides a foundation for educational institutions, physicians and other health care workers to be able to experience ethics education and learn methods to analyze clinical ethics situations. CME
